Déjala que baile 1º ESO

This is the song that the students of 1rst in Trinitarias school has chosen to sing, play.... as a collaborative work .

Good choice!

Let her dance, defends the rights of women.

'Déjala que baile' is one of the highlights of Ahora, the brand new Melendi album. And not only for the great collaborations of Alejandro Sanz and Arkano that we find in the song, but for the powerful message of his lyrics.

This theme, which has the great collaboration of Alejandro Sanz and rapper Arkano, has a powerful message that pays tribute to all women, enhancing their value in life and claiming their rights.

In 'Déjala que baile' they sing to the free woman and mistress of her own decisions, and punish the men who do not value them as they deserve: "That the one who looks for a vase is that he does not take care of his garden".

Sing a song!

Sing a song

What a great article I’ve found today from The University of Oxford about singing. Here’s some quotes:

The physiological benefits of singing, and music more generally, have long been explored. Music making exercises the brain as well as the body, but singing is particularly beneficial for improving breathing, posture and muscle tension. Listening to and participating in music has been shown to be effective in pain relief, too, probably due to the release of neurochemicals such as β-endorphin (a natural painkiller responsible for the “high” experienced after intense exercise).
Singing has also been shown to improve our sense of happiness and wellbeing.

THESE DAYS 2ºA

IN THIS VIDEO WE CAN SEE THE GROUP IN THE STUDIO: Here it is the official video: Lyrics:

I know you moved onto someone new
Hope life is beautiful
You were the light for me to find my truth
I just wanna say, thank you
Leaving to find my soul
Told her I had to go
And I know it ain't pretty
When our hearts get broke
Too young to feel this old
Watching us both turn cold
Oh, I know it ain't pretty
When two hearts get broke
Yeah, I know it ain't pretty
When two hearts get broke
I hope someday
We'll sit down together
And laugh with each other
About these days, these days
All our troubles
We'll lay to rest
And we'll wish we could come back to these days, these days
These days, these days
These days, these days
Three years of ups and downs
Nothing to show for it now
And I know it ain't pretty when the fire burns out
Calling me when I'm drunk, remind me of what I've done
And I know it ain't pretty when you're trying to move on, yeah
I hope someday
We'll sit down together
And laugh with each other
About these days, these days
All our troubles
We'll lay to rest
And we'll wish we could come back to these days, these days
Oh I know, I know
Oh I know, I know
Oh I know, I know
These days, these days
Oh I know, I know
Oh I know, I know
Oh I know, I know
To these days, these days
Cigarettes in the ash tray
Reminiscing on those past days
I thought you’d end up with my last name
But that changed
And I travelled around the world
Think where you living at now?
I heard you moved to Oxford
Got an apartment and settled down
And every once in a while
I start texting
Write a paragraph
But then I delete the message
Think 'bout you like a past time
I could cry you a river
Get you baptised or
I wasn't ready to act right
Used to always think I'd get you back, right
They say that things fall apart (yeah)
We were gonna move to Brooklyn
You were gonna study Art (oh no, oh)
Love is just a tool
To remind us who we are
And that we are not alone
When we're walking in the dark
I hope someday
We'll sit down together
And laugh with each other
About these days, these days
All our troubles
We'll lay to rest
And we'll wish we could come back to these days, these days
We'll wish we could come back to these days, these days (these days, these days, these days)

Believer imagine dragon 3º B

This is the song that 3º B has chosen:

A  LITTLE BIT OF THE MUSIC.. BELIEVER" by Olga Fernandez .

First things first
I'ma say all the words inside my head
I'm fired up and tired of the way that things have been, oh ooh
The way that things have been, oh ooh
Second thing second
Don't you tell me what you think that I can be
I'm the one at the sail, I'm the master of my sea, oh ooh
The master of my sea, oh ooh
I was broken from a young age
Taking my sulking to the masses
Write down my poems for the few
That looked at me, took to me, shook to me, feeling me
Singing from heartache from the pain
Taking my message from the veins
Speaking my lesson from the brain
Seeing the beauty through the
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
(Pain, pain)
You break me down, you build me up, believer, believer
(Pain)
Oh let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
My life, my love, my drive, it came from
(Pain)
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Third things third
Send a prayer to the ones up above
All the hate that you've heard has turned your spirit to a dove, oh ooh
Your spirit up above, oh ooh
I was choking in the crowd
Building my rain up in the cloud
Falling like ashes to the ground
Hoping my feelings, they would drown
But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing
Inhibited, limited
'Til it broke up and it rained down
It rained down, like
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
(Pain, pain)
You break me down, you built me up, believer, believer
(Pain)
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
My life, my love, my drive, it came from
(Pain)
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
Last things last
By the grace of the fire and the flames
You're the face of the future, the blood in my veins, oh ooh
The blood in my veins, oh ooh
But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing
Inhibited, limited
'Til it broke up and it rained down
It rained down, like
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer
(Pain, pain)
You break me down, you built me up, believer, believer
(Pain)
I let the bullets fly, oh let them rain
My life, my love, my drive, it came from
(Pain)
You made me a, you made me a believer, believer

LO SIENTO BERET 3º A

This song has been chosen by the students of 3rd A of Eso.

Let's know a little bit about Beret:

When the press and the major record companies knew who Beret was, it was already late. The hundreds of millions of reproductions that accumulated their songs on YouTube spoke for themselves: I did not need anyone to succeed.

In fact, he did need help at the beginning, before everything started: that of his friends. He had several songs composed and recorded in a homemade way, but he did not dare upload them to the internet. "I am a super-introverted person, and I was reluctant to release my songs. My friends did it, without telling me, "explains the young star. «What I like the most about this work is to compose, the rest no longer so much. I enjoy the concerts, but I do not have as much time as I experience in a recording studio. In fact I never wanted to be a singer, as a child I always said I wanted to study sound, to work with the music of other people, "he says. Therefore, when it was time to present their own songs to the public, the ghost of stage fright wandered through his dressing room. "In the first concert I gave in my life there were more than five hundred people. I was in the dressing room saying, 'What's going to come out of all this?' I did not know how an artist was prepared in those situations. Now I have more serenity, but at first it was crazy.

The key, in the lyrics:

His shy nature has also been reflected in the content of his video clips, in which it is not usual to see his face. «I love the lyric-videos (where you can read the lyrics on a normally static background), because they leave more space for the imagination. If I put you images constantly, the song stops having many interpretations, which is my goal as a composer after all ».

In order to understand its success, it is necessary to attend precisely to its lyrics, in which it expresses directly, simply and sincerely the problems of an entire generation that has identified itself with its way of understanding life. "There is only one issue that I feel unable to write about: anxiety," he confesses. "I have an anxiety disorder for four years, and those of us who suffer this, get worse when we talk about it. If I tried today, it would be like going back ».

Sing the song:

Play the recorder:

Tiempo perdido quizás lo he ganado

First Score of recorder.

I propose an interesting song: Summer in Brazil by E. Huerta. It has a nice melody, is simple to play, the rhythm is catchy, and it serves us to say goodbye to the summer and talk about the summer experiences, especially the musical one.
