MUSICAL STYLES /2º


CLASSICAL MUSIC:
Classical Music had its greatest flourishing from the Middle Ages .They used sheets or scores. They composed the music to be listened in theatres. To play this music you have to know music, read music...
The composers are famous. They don't use electric instruments.
Some composers are : Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel etc
Composers created works of  differents complexity that explore the textures, timbres, strusctures and dynamics of sound.



POP MUSIC AND FOLK MUSIC ( OR TRADITIONAL) : These 2 types of music come from the people. Reflects the customs of the people. This type of music has always existed.

 Pop music : Pop is the most widespread musical style in the youth culture of the early 20 st century. They usually use electric instruments because the audience is big and they need to be listened.Srong  rhythms and lively melodies. Simple structure in the songs. The song lyrics focus on simple themes.

Traditional music: Folk is the set of customs and traditions that belong or identify a region, town or country.These customs and traditions include : crafts, painting,legends, music etc
 It is tranmitted orally  from generation to generation.
